In addition to teaching in the Illustration Department at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Katia Wish has developed and taught the following workshops: Making Creativity a Habit, Urban Sketchbook, Character Design for Children’s Books, Drawing Comics About Everyday Life and Draw Me a Story.
The workshops are taught throughout the year at different organizations. If you would like to schedule a workshop for your organization/event, please reach out to Katia at Katia.Wish.Studio@gmail.com.
"Making creativity a habit was a very enjoyable class. I was so excited to take a course in my subject area. I loved the sketchbook format and will be trying to do more art in it after the class. I liked the variety of the materials and formats that were introduced. Also acknowledging that many have fears about creating art and then creating strategies to use to get over your fears."

"Thanks Katia! It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon with colleagues, and I appreciated hearing what my peers said in regards to the struggles that we face with trying to be more creative in our lives with all of our many responsibilities. I also appreciated seeing your work and how you have made your creative pursuits such a huge part of your life. It was very inspiring!”

"I could directly connect the exercises in the workshop to my teaching, and just as importantly, I could use what I learned in my own life. This was the perfect time to think about this - after the school year is over and at the start of the summer, so I can work on making my creativity a habit before all of the teacher responsibilities come back around. The creative exercises were useful and had a variety of "ways in" for different people's comfort zones. I appreciated Katia's encouragement along the way and the other educators in the class. I felt like I wasn't alone in the struggles I can sometimes face with my making."
